Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Assistant to support the monitoring, deployment, movement, documentation, and servicing of company-owned medical equipment.
The position works closely with the Medical Equipment Coordinator, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Technical Service, Sales, and Logistics Teams to maintain accurate equipment records, complete movement documentation, and ensure the timely deployment, retrieval, transfer, inspection, and servicing of medical equipment.
Assist in monitoring the location, deployment, transfer, pull-out, return, condition, and service status of medical equipment.
Maintain accurate and updated records of equipment serial numbers, locations, accountabilities, condition, movement history, and service requirements.
Prepare and process equipment movement forms, acknowledgment receipts, transfer documents, pull-out records, and other required documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams and client sites regarding equipment deployment, retrieval, transfer, replacement, inspection, and verification.
Assist in scheduling and monitoring preventive maintenance, calibration, inspection, and repair activities with the Technical Service Team.
Follow up on pending equipment returns, pull-outs, repairs, documentation, and other action items.
Participate in physical inventory counts, equipment validation, site checking, and reconciliation of actual equipment against company records.
Prepare and update equipment status, inventory, movement, and accountability reports.
Organize and maintain complete physical and electronic equipment records.
Immediately report missing equipment, record discrepancies, undocumented movements, incomplete forms, or accountability concerns.
Perform other equipment-related administrative and coordination tasks as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Healthcare-related course, or any relevant field.
Preferably with experience in medical equipment coordination, asset or inventory monitoring, warehouse operations, logistics, documentation, or administrative support.
Fresh graduates with strong organizational, documentation, and coordination skills are encouraged to apply.
Experience in a medical equipment, diagnostic, laboratory, hospital, or healthcare company is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Sheets, and computerized monitoring or inventory systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, complete, and organized records.
Good communication, coordination, time-management, and follow-through skills.
Dependable, systematic, proactive, and capable of handling multiple assignments and deadlines.
Willing to perform physical inventory counts, field or client-site coordination, and equipment verification when required.
