Supply Chain Assistant – Medical Equipment & Healthcare Operations
Job Summary
Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized Supply Chain Assistant to support medical equipment coordination, inventory and asset monitoring, logistics, documentation, and service-related activities.
The position will work closely with the Supply Chain, Warehouse, Technical Service, Sales, Logistics, and Purchasing Teams to ensure accurate records, proper equipment accountability, and timely supply chain transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels, equipment availability, location, condition, accountability, and service status.
- Maintain accurate records of medical equipment and assets, including serial numbers, assigned client or user, and deployment details.
- Assist in physical inventory counts, equipment verification, and record reconciliation.
- Coordinate equipment deployment, delivery, transfer, return, replacement, pull-out, and movement.
- Ensure that equipment and inventory transactions have complete forms, approvals, and acknowledgements.
- Monitor pending deployments, returns, repairs, servicing, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and sites regarding equipment status and requirements.
- Prepare inventory, equipment status, accountability, and pending-action reports.
- Promptly report discrepancies, missing items, damaged equipment, and undocumented movements.
- Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready supply chain records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Preferably with at least one (1) year of experience in supply chain, inventory, logistics, warehouse, asset monitoring, or equipment coordination.
- Experience in medical equipment, laboratory diagnostics, hospital operations, healthcare logistics, or medical devices is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other inventory or monitoring tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Willing to conduct inventory checks, field coordination, equipment verification, and occasional client or site visits.
- Able to safely perform the physical and operational requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
