Job summary

APEC Homes is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to supervise site execution during drilling operations, EWT construction, and installation of pumps, motors, and electrical components for its water distribution projects in Bulacan and Rizal.

You will review deep well facility designs, analyze drawings, coordinate with permits teams to secure required permits, and ensure timely contracting and strict quality standards. Fieldwork will be required with provided transportation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer with deep well operations knowledge for water distribution systems.
• Experience with deep well facilities for subdivisions and developments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation skills with contractors and external offices for permits.
• Willing to do fieldwork in Rizal and Bulacan; transportation provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site execution during drilling operations, EWT construction, and installation of pumps, motors, electrical components and accessories.
• Review design plans of deep well facilities based on approved concept and parameters, recommending changes as needed.
• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and related data to determine design factors.
• Coordinate with Liaison/Permit team to expedite permits (Building, Drilling, Water, CPC).
• Coordinate with Technical Assistant for timely preparation and awarding of contracts to contractors.
• Manage project preparation and coordinate with other groups to meet schedule.
• Ensure strict implementation of approved quality standards.

Education

Mechanical Engineering Graduate

Have extensive knowledge of Deep well operations

Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Good negotiation skills regarding contractors' performance and with external offices for permits

Willing to do fieldwork in Rizal and Bulacan areas; transportation provided

Job description

1. Supervise site execution during drilling operations, erection and construction of elevated water tanks (EWT), installation of pumps and motors, electrical components, and other accessories.




2. Review design plans of deep well facilities based on the approved concept and parameters, recommending changes as needed.




3. Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and related data to determine design factors.




4. Coordinate and assist with the Liaison/Permit team regarding the requirements and expedite the application for necessary permits (e.g., Building Permit, Drilling Permit, Water Permit, and CPC).




5. Coordinate with the Technical Assistant for the timely preparation and awarding of contracts to contractors.




6. Manage project preparation and coordinate with other groups to ensure all requirements are met according to the schedule.




7. Ensure strict implementation of approved quality standards.
