Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience and a valid Professional Electrical Engineer (PECE) license. The ideal candidate will lead the electrical system planning, design, and coordination for premium commercial developments—including Grade A office towers, international hotel brands, and mixed-use complexes—in Metro Manila.

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation process of mechanical equipment (such as pumps, fans, piping systems, pressure vessels, HVAC systems, etc.), conduct quality inspections, and provide technical guidance on-site.
- Organize and execute pre- and post-installation site verifications, including drawing reviews, equipment arrival inspections, precision calibration checks, and preparation for commissioning.
- Coordinate with design departments, suppliers, and construction units to resolve technical issues during the construction process, ensuring accurate implementation of design intentions.
- Participate in construction drawing reviews and technical briefings, propose optimization suggestions to minimize discrepancies between design and construction.
- Track design change processes, promptly convey changes to the construction site, and monitor their implementation.
- Develop and review construction technical plans, commissioning schedules, and related technical documents.
- Collaborate with project schedule management, identify risk points in mechanical construction phases, and propose preventive and corrective measures.
- Participate in single machine testing, integrated system debugging, and final acceptance of mechanical equipment.
- Regularly submit on-site technical reports, documenting key construction milestones and resolutions of technical issues.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Process Equipment & Control Engineering, Thermal Power Engineering, or related fields.
- Over 5 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in technical management roles on construction sites.
- Proficient in mechanical drafting (AutoCAD, etc.), capable of reading and understanding P&ID, equipment layout drawings, piping isometric drawings, and other construction drawings.
- Familiar with ASME and other relevant mechanical design and construction standards.
- Preference given to candidates holding registered Mechanical Engineer qualifications and those with EPC project experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, able to effectively interface between design teams and construction crews.
- Possess strong problem analysis and resolution capabilities on-site, high sense of responsibility, and adaptability to periodic business trips or on-site assignments.
- 6 months initial contract (subject to renewal)
- Monday to Saturday
