The Market Research & Sales Support role supports Data Lake’s business growth by translating market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights into actionable recommendations for Marketing, Enterprise Sales, and Government Sales.
The role focuses on businesses, enterprises, government agencies, and LGUs. It identifies and qualifies organizational leads, recommends relevant events and engagement opportunities, and provides research to support sales strategies. It also coordinates customer satisfaction surveys and feedback reporting with Operations.
Research target industries, businesses, enterprises, government agencies, and LGUs to understand their connectivity requirements.
Monitor competitor products, services, publicly available pricing, campaigns, and market positioning.
Identify emerging organizational needs, market gaps, and potential business opportunities.
Prepare research summaries and practical recommendations for marketing and sales planning.
Identify prospective businesses, enterprises, government agencies, and LGUs through online research, industry directories, events, referrals, and professional networks.
Qualify leads based on the organization’s connectivity requirements, solution fit, relevant decision-makers, procurement process, and purchasing timeline.
Prepare organizational account profiles and endorse qualified leads to Enterprise Sales or Government Sales, as appropriate.
Coordinate with the Marketing Generalist to maintain accurate organizational and contact information in the CRM and track lead handover and follow-up status with the assigned Sales team.
Coordinate with Enterprise and Government Sales to understand their priorities, target accounts, and research requirements.
Provide market insights, competitor comparisons, and account briefs to support sales discussions.
Recommend industries, organizations, and engagement approaches with potential to generate business.
Gather feedback from Sales on endorsed leads and use it to improve future targeting.
Evaluate conferences, trade shows, industry gatherings, and business or government networking activities for their relevance and sales potential.
Recommend events and partnerships aligned with Data Lake’s target markets and business objectives.
Build relationships with industry associations, business groups, government networks, and potential partners.
Support pre-event prospect research and post-event lead qualification in coordination with Marketing and Sales.
Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys and feedback collection from business, enterprise, and government clients with Operations.
Analyze feedback to identify recurring concerns, service strengths, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare reports and endorse customer concerns to the appropriate teams.
Monitor the status of endorsed feedback while Operations handles service investigation and resolution.
Maintain organized research files, organizational account profiles, competitor references, and customer feedback records.
Prepare regular reports on qualified leads, market opportunities, event recommendations, and customer insights.
Track the progress of marketing-sourced leads in coordination with Sales.
Use approved research, CRM, AI, and automation tools while verifying information accuracy and protecting confidential data.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in market research, sales support, lead generation, business development, or customer insights.
Strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Ability to interpret information and present clear, practical recommendations.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand organizational needs and stakeholder priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly spreadsheets and presentations.
Familiarity with CRM systems, survey tools, and online research platforms.
Experience supporting business-to-business or government accounts is an advantage.
Knowledge of telecommunications, Starlink, networking, or connectivity solutions is an advantage.
Familiarity with AI-assisted research and workflow automation is an advantage.
