Data Lake Inc. in Pasig is seeking a Marketing Head who will own the revenue produced by marketing. The role leads brand, creative, digital, and events while driving measurable pipeline and revenue through HubSpot-enabled attribution.
You will run a lean, AI-driven team, plan lead generation events, and position Data Lake as a premier Starlink partner in the Philippines, reporting to the Executive Committee.
The Marketing Head owns the revenue that marketing produces. The role exists to make Data Lake the name that Filipino consumers, businesses, and government agencies think of when they think of Starlink, and to turn that position into measurable pipeline and closed sales.
This is not a creative or brand only role. The Marketing Head directs brand, creative, digital, and events, but is measured on marketing sourced pipeline and revenue tracked in HubSpot and reported monthly to the Executive Committee. Marketing that does not produce revenue is not the job.
Context: Data Lake is the largest Starlink reseller in Southeast Asia and one of two companies in the Philippines licensed for B2B, B2G, and B2C Starlink distribution. We sell to residential customers, enterprises, government, and channel partners. We operate under Starlink co-marketing rules and do not own the Starlink brand. We run a lean, AI driven company with minimal management layers.
Own the marketing sourced pipeline and revenue target. Report monthly to the Executive Committee in PHP with plain language commentary.
Build and maintain HubSpot attribution so every lead, campaign, and event ties to a deal stage and an outcome.
Agree lead definitions, handover rules, and follow-up service levels with the Sales Team, and hold both sides to them.
Make Data Lake the default Starlink name in the Philippines while complying fully with Starlink co-marketing and brand rules.
Position Data Lake beyond reseller as a managed connectivity and digital infrastructure partner, so the brand holds its value if a second LEO provider enters the market.
Own the brand guidelines and enforce them across all channels, partners, and resellers.
Plan and run events, provincial roadshows, mall and community activations, channel partner events, and industry summits as lead generation engines, each with a pipeline target set before spend is approved.
Own event budgets end to end, including securing sponsor and partner funding to offset cost.
Lead Data Lake's presence at the Southeast Asia LEO Connectivity Summit in Manila (October 2026) and comparable industry events.
Build distinct go to market programs for residential, enterprise, government (LGUs, national agencies, education), and channel partners, under one brand.
Support government tenders and enterprise bids with positioning, case studies, and collateral.
Direct digital, social, SEO/SEM, paid media, email, and website. Direct the creative team on collateral, video, and campaign production.
Use AI tools to produce content and analysis at scale with a small team.
Manage the Starlink co-marketing relationship and MDF applications. Manage agencies, media, and vendors on measurable output.
Lead a small marketing and creative team. Output over headcount. Do hands on work when needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, or any related field (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
At least 7 years in marketing, with at least 3 years personally owning a revenue or pipeline target. The candidate must state the number and how it was measured. Owning creative output while another team owned the numbers does not qualify.
B2B or B2G marketing experience: marketing to companies or government buyers where a sales team closed the deal.
Owned at least one event or activation end to end: budget, execution, leads generated, revenue closed. Must be able to state the budget and the outcome.
HubSpot or equivalent CRM experience in attribution and pipeline reporting, not only email and contact management.
Able to present numbers to executives and a board in plain language.
Telecom, ISP, technology, or satellite internet experience.
Experience building a brand on top of a brand you did not own: franchise, distributor, reseller, or white label.
Experience with vendor MDF or co-op marketing programs.
Provincial or regional marketing experience in the Philippines.
AI tools in daily workflow (content, analysis, automation).
Owns the number. Speaks in pipeline and revenue, not impressions.
Commercial judgment. Knows where a peso of spend returns the most.
Direct and concise. Answers a question with a number.
Builds systems and repeatable programs, not one off campaigns.
Comfortable with ambiguity and pace in a young company.
Leads a small team and stays hands on.
