Nickel Asia Corporation is seeking a senior IT asset and vendor governance specialist to manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement through disposal. You will coordinate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure strong governance and cost transparency across IT spend.
The role requires 7+ years in IT asset/vendor management and a track record in financial governance, with at least 3 years in leadership. Collaboration with AVP, IT Services is essential.
Lead IT asset lifecycle governance for hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, devices, peripherals, and assigned technology assets from procurement request through deployment, assignment, refresh, retirement, and disposal coordination.
Govern IT vendor and contract administration, including vendor master lists, contract registers, renewal calendars, SLA scorecards, performance reviews, escalation logs, and vendor accountability actions.
Manage IT OPEX and CAPEX tracking across delivery domains, including monthly cost dashboards, budget variance analysis, forecast inputs, accrual coordination, chargeback/showback support, and management reporting.
Lead the IT Administration, Cost & Document Control function, including day-to-day cost tracking, asset records, document management, procurement support, administrative compliance, and reporting discipline.
Maintain IT document control and records management, including contracts, policies, governance registers, purchase records, approval trails, asset records, vendor correspondence, audit evidence, and controlled document versions.
Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit on IT purchasing governance, contract review, supplier documentation, spend approvals, audit requests, and policy alignment.
Support annual budget planning, quarterly forecasting, project business case inputs, renewal planning, and technology cost transparency across infrastructure, platforms, cybersecurity, service desk, and delivery domains.
Identify cost optimization, vendor consolidation, licensing rationalization, asset recovery, and administrative process improvement opportunities for review by the AVP, IT Services, and relevant governance forums.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in IT vendor management, IT asset management, IT financial governance, procurement coordination, contract administration, document control, or technology administration, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Training or certification in ITIL, IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, procurement governance, contract lifecycle management, vendor management, financial reporting, budget planning, records management, audit readiness, or document control is preferred
