Job summary

Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. is seeking a seasoned IT Asset Management leader in Metro Manila to own the asset lifecycle strategy and governance. You will ensure accurate tracking in the CMDB, manage vendor relations, and lead cross-functional teams including Procurement, IT Service Desk, and HR.

Candidates should have 5+ years in IT Asset Management and 3+ years in leadership, with strong Excel and JIRA capabilities to drive cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the enterprise IT Asset Management strategy, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets including planning, procurement, delivery, deployment, maintenance, refresh, retirement and disposal.
• Establish governance frameworks and controls for hardware and software asset management and audits.
• Maintain an accurate CMDB and Asset Repository; reconcile and validate asset data.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, license compliance, and service agreements.
• Drive process standardization and automation of asset management activities and evaluate ITAM tools.

Job description

IT Asset Lifecycle Management

• Develop and manage the enterprise IT Asset Management strategy, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including:
• Planning
• Procurement
• Delivery
• Deployment
• Maintenance
• Refresh
• Retirement and disposal
• Ensure all IT assets are accurately tracked and maintained in JIRA and other related records.

Asset Governance and Compliance

• Establish governance frameworks and controls for hardware and software asset management.
• Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and audit requirements.
• Lead internal and external software license audits.
• Maintain asset records and documentation to support regulatory and corporate compliance requirements.

Asset Inventory and Data Integrity

• Maintain an accurate and auditable Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Repository.
• Conduct regular reconciliation and inventory validation exercises.
• Monitor asset data quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify opportunities to optimize software licensing and hardware utilization.
• Monitor asset depreciation, renewal schedules, maintenance contracts, and warranties.
• Explore and drive cost reduction initiatives related to IT asset procurement and utilization.
• Vendor and Contract Management
• Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors.
• Monitor contract renewals, license compliance, and support agreements.
• Negotiate favorable terms and asset-related service agreements when applicable.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure delivery of contracted services.
• Process Improvement and Automation
• Drive process standardization and automation of asset management activities.
• Evaluate and implement ITAM tools and technologies.
• Develop and maintain asset management workflows and reporting capabilities.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with IT Service Management, Enterprise Infrastructure Services, IT Service Desk, Procurement, Fixed Assets Team, HR, and other business units.
• Provide guidance on asset lifecycle decisions and compliance requirements.
• Present asset management performance reports to leadership and governance committees if needed
• Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor IT Asset Management resources.
• Set performance goals and support team development.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related course.
• Have 5+ years experience in IT Asset Management
• Have 3+ years of leadership or management experience

Skills and Attributes:

• Experience managing enterprise-scale hardware and software asset programs.
• Experience with software licensing models from major vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP etc
• Project Management skill or experience is a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel
