Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced procurement professional in the Philippines to manage IT purchasing, vendor relations, and contract negotiations for hardware, software, SaaS, and cloud services.

You will coordinate bids, review pricing, terms, and renewals while ensuring compliance and cost optimization across IT spend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
• 5–8 years of related experience in IT purchasing, procurement operations, or vendor management.
• Experience coordinating competitive bids or RFPs and supporting contract negotiations.

Job description

• Coordinate end-to-end purchasing for IT Infrastructure hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, telecommunications, professional services, maintenance, and support agreements
• Serve as operational liaison between IT Infrastructure, Finance, Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and technology vendors
• Develop vendor relationships, resolve commercial and operational issues, and organize vendor business reviews
• Coordinate competitive bidding by obtaining proposals, documenting requirements, reviewing pricing and terms, and supporting vendor evaluation
• Support contract negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, service periods, renewals, license quantities, and other commercial considerations
• Maintain records of contracts, suppliers, purchase orders, software licenses, renewals, costs, and business owners
• Manage the Infrastructure renewal calendar and initiate renewal activities
• Support major software and cloud renewals, including the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement
• Track purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and purchasing commitments; resolve discrepancies and provide information for budgeting and forecasting
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, consolidate suppliers, optimize licensing, strengthen controls, and improve purchasing experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 5–8 years of related experience
• Relevant experience in IT purchasing, procurement operations, vendor management, contract administration, software licensing, or financial operations
• Experience coordinating competitive bids or requests for proposals and supporting contract negotiations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs and agreements, including Enterprise Agreement, MPSA, CSP, and SPLA
• Familiarity with enterprise purchasing and financial platforms such as Coupa, Oracle, Basware, or similar systems
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Understanding of purchasing lifecycle, IT infrastructure technologies, SaaS subscription models, cloud services, and common technology agreements
• Negotiation and quotation/proposal review skills
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills
• Willingness to work in a US Pacific Time schedule
