Job summary

SM Store is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partner to partner with branch leaders in Laoag to plan and implement HR strategies that drive business goals and deliver positive employee experiences.

The role involves building advisory relationships, collaborating with HR teams, ensuring branch readiness, coaching leaders on performance management, implementing HR systems, and supporting compensation, benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced study in HRM or OD is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of HR leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Build advisory relationships with branch partners to align HR plans with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the HR Zone Head, Functional Experts, and Employee Services to ensure effective service delivery in the branch.
• Ensure branch plantilla is in place and resources are available at target levels for the branch.
• Coach and guide branch leaders on the performance management system and talent interventions (IDPs/PDPs/PIPs).
• Implement HR systems, ensure policies and data accuracy, and maintain HR data resources.
• Oversee Compensation and Benefits activities and engage in employee engagement and wellness programs.

Job description

The Manager, HR Business Partner will work with business leaders in the designated branch/es to plan and implement HR strategies and initiatives that contribute to the achievement of business goals as well as builds and sustains partnerships across the HR functions to deliver value-adding services and positive employee experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build and develop a strong advisory working relationship with business partners and stakeholders in the Branch to ensure that HR plans and programs are supporting the achievement of business objectives
• Collaborate with the HR Zone Head, HR Functional Experts, and Employee Services Teams to ensure efficient and effective implementation and service delivery in the branch
• Ensure branch plantilla is in place and resources are available at target levels for the branch
• Coach and guide branch business partners and people managers on the company's performance management system, provide support in crafting and execution of IDPs/PDPs/PIPs and other talent management interventions
• Implement all HR Systems in the branch, ensure policies and standards are adhered to, and accuracy of data as a resource is maintained
• Implement Compensation and Benefits functions and activities in the branch
• Work closely with branch business partners in the execution of corporate and local employee engagement and wellness programs (SM Life, Culture, Values and other initiatives)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree, advanced study in Human Resources Management, Organization Development, or Business Management an advantage
• With at least 4 years' work experience in an HR leadership capacity
