The Manager will oversee scheduling, training, inventory control, budgeting, and reporting, delivering a positive shopping environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or equivalent leadership role.

• Experience with inventory management and stock control procedures.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail management software.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all store operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
• Leading, motivating and developing store staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs through effective team leadership and planning.
• Managing staff scheduling, training and performance management.
• Maintaining stock levels and managing inventory to prevent stockouts and excess stock.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices.
• Handling customer queries and complaints professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our team at our Cagayan de Oro store, based in Misamis Oriental. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and overall success of the store. As Manager, you will be responsible for leading the store team, driving sales performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational standards. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on store performance whilst leading and developing a talented team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing all store operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising
• Leading, motivating and developing store staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators through effective team leadership and strategic planning
• Managing staff scheduling, training and performance management to maintain a productive workforce
• Maintaining stock levels and managing inventory to prevent stockouts whilst minimising excess stock
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices
• Creating a positive and engaging store environment that enhances the customer shopping experience
• Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitoring store finances, managing budgets and controlling operational costs
• Reporting on store performance and providing regular updates to senior management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a retail management role, ideally in a store environment within the Retail & Consumer Products sector
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create a positive shopping environment
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and improving store performance
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and retail management software
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical capability to perform duties including standing for extended periods and lifting stock
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
• Relevant retail management qualifications or equivalent experience is preferred
