Job summary

Bestank Manufacturing Corporation seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee plant machinery, facilities, and the physical condition of buildings. This role drives repair and preventive maintenance planning and leads a technical team to sustain high operational standards.

Responsibilities include developing an Annual Preventive Maintenance Schedule, planning corrective programs, and ensuring GMP and OSHS compliance while maintaining cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree(s) in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial fields.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, directing and controlling maintenance activities.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with GMP, OSHS, environmental regulations, fire safety systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willing to work from Monday to Saturday (8am to 5pm).

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of plant machinery, equipment, facilities, and buildings.
• Develop and implement an Annual Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Plan and execute corrective maintenance programs that are cost-efficient.
• Analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Set goals, prioritize tasks, and guide the technical team in achieving departmental objectives.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to detect defects or potential issues.
• Present technical proposals, reports, and safety measures to Regional Branch Heads or Directors.
• Coordinate and manage engineering activities related to events, programs, and special projects.
• Perform administrative functions such as report writing, budget reviews, procurement approvals, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the engineering team to maintain high performance standards.
• Supervise installation, testing, operation, and repair of equipment, facilities, and company vehicles.
