Job summary

Recruitify_HR seeks a Deputy Manager – Engineering and Maintenance to oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant and off-site facilities. The role focuses on delivering optimal performance at the lowest sustainable cost while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will lead engineering and maintenance teams, develop preventive maintenance programs, and manage major shutdowns and capital projects to ensure high equipment availability and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Licensed Engineer is strongly preferred.
• 10–15 years in engineering and maintenance operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations across plant and off-site facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor plant condition via inspections, reports, and site tours.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and performance; analyze downtime and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee capital projects, plant upgrades, and major shutdowns planning.
• Champion safety, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and maintenance teams; collaborate with senior management.
• Manage maintenance budgets and review KPIs to drive performance improvements.
