Trinitas Food Corporation is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function supporting our bakery operations and branch network.
This is not purely a repair role. We are looking for a leader who can build a preventive and predictive maintenance culture, improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, control maintenance costs, and develop a disciplined maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance team responsible for bakery equipment, refrigeration, electrical systems, air-conditioning, facilities, and other operational assets.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program for all critical equipment.
- Establish equipment maintenance schedules, inspection standards, checklists, and service records.
- Monitor equipment breakdowns and downtime and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring problems.
- Establish clear response and escalation procedures for emergency repairs.
- Manage technicians, contractors, suppliers, spare parts, and maintenance service providers.
- Maintain an accurate Equipment and Asset Registry, including maintenance and repair history.
- Develop minimum and critical spare-parts requirements to prevent unnecessary operational downtime.
- Monitor maintenance expenses and identify opportunities to reduce repair costs without compromising equipment reliability or safety.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, mechanical, fire-safety, occupational-safety, and food-production requirements.
- Train and develop maintenance personnel and establish clear competency standards for technicians.
- Provide management with regular reports on equipment condition, downtime, recurring breakdowns, maintenance costs, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibility.
- Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, restaurants, retail, hospitality, commissary, FMCG, or multi-site operations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience managing technicians and third-party contractors.
- Strong planning, documentation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with bakery equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical systems, ovens, mixers, proofers, chillers, and freezers is an advantage.
- Willing to travel between branches when required.
How Success Will Be Measured
The Maintenance Manager will be accountable for measurable improvements in:
- Equipment uptime and availability
- Preventive maintenance completion rate
- Reduction in recurring equipment breakdowns
- Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
- Maintenance response time
- Maintenance cost versus budget
- Critical spare-parts availability
- Equipment safety and compliance
- Branch satisfaction with maintenance support
We are looking for someone who believes that a strong maintenance department should prevent problems before they interrupt operations, not simply repair equipment after it fails.
At Trinitas Food Corporation, we hire for both capability and character and expect our leaders to demonstrate our core values of Humility, Obedience, Perseverance, and Excellence (HOPE).
