Job summary

PL Aguila Manufacturing Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises and equipment. The role involves planned and responsive repairs and installations as required in Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, including HVAC, refrigeration systems, boilers, gensets, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical or Electrical background, with HVAC certification preferred, and 1–2 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College degree graduate or vocational course on Mechanical or Electrical.
• Certificate in HVAC will be a plus.
• Preferably with at least 1-2 years experience as a maintenance technician.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.).
• Perform daily check-up of facilities, equipment & premises. Assist in the setup of equipment, refrigeration and other systems.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary.
• Observes safety rules and regulation and ensures quality and food safety standards in Maintenance Operations.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician is responsible to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality
of premises and equipment. To carry out planned and responsive repairs and installations as required in Preventive and Corrective Maintenance assigned to him. This includes the repair and troubleshooting of HVAC, Refrigeration
System, Boilers, Gensets and other equipment alike. To maintain the facilities and common areas in the best possible condition. To be willing to up-skill and develop, to enable completion of all types of multi-skilled work

Entry Level

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/College degree graduate or vocational course on Mechanical or Electrical
• Certificate in HVAC will be a plus
• Preferably with at least 1-2 years experience as a maintenance technician
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)

• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and devices
• Knowledgeable in applicable Food Safety Management Systems and principles(e.g. FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• Prior exposure to fruit processing, beverage bottling, or food-grade manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
