Job summary

Ivoclar Philippines seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on technical support for the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facilities.

The role focuses on minimizing downtime, maintaining safety, and supporting productivity with 2+ years of manufacturing experience, NCII or associate degree, and knowledge of GMP/ISO standards. Your responsibilities include preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, installations, and 5S adherence.

Qualifications

• College or vocational graduate with technical background.
• NCII or associate degree preferred in mechanical or electrical.
• Understanding of GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA regulatory requirement is a plus.
• At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing setup.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Capable of performing electrical installations for machines and related equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines.
• Troubleshoot PLC-related issues and repair machine problems.
• Assist with machine installation, upgrades, modifications, and repairs.
• Support equipment qualification activities such as IQ, OQ, and risk assessments.
• Monitor machines and equipment to ensure safe and continuous operation.
• Manage and monitor spare parts inventory.
• Record all maintenance work in equipment logbooks or maintenance systems.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the work area following 5S standards.
