We are seeking a highly driven Maintenance Manager to lead plant reliability, automation advancement, and engineering excellence within a high-volume snack manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibility:
Reliability and Maintenance Leadership
- 1. Lead preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs;
- 2. Oversee maintenance of processing and high-speed packaging equipment, including robotics for case packing;
- 3. Ensure high equipment uptime and reduction of unplanned downtime;
- 4. Develop a structured root cause analysis (RCA) culture;
- 5. Ensure spareparts availability (inventory turnover, stock out rate, and emergency order frequency for local and OEM parts).
Automation and Digitalization
- 1. Maintain and continuously improve SCADA systems and support future MES integration;
- 2. Lead automation upgrades and modernization initiatives;
- 3. Proactively suggest, justify, and execute automation and optimization projects;
- 4. Manage instrumentation and automation technicians and build internal technical capability.
CMMS & Data-Driven Maintenance
- 1. Drive full utilization of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS);
- 2. Use maintenance data for asset criticality ranking, spareparts strategy, and downtime analysis;
- 3. Establish a KPI dashboard for reliability and maintenance performance.
Engineering & Capital Projects
- 1. Lead commissioning of new production lines;
- 2. Own maintenance and engineering budget;
- 3. Evaluate and manage CapEx investment using cost-benefit analysis;
- 4. Partner with suppliers and contractors for installation and startup.
Food Safety & Compliance
- 1. Support plant compliance with GMP standards;
- 2. Contribute to and support FSSC 22000 certification efforts;
- 3. Ensure sanity equipment design principles are upheld during installation, modification, and maintenance;
- 4. Maintain audit-ready documentation and calibration systems.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or any related)
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume snack or FMCG manufacturing
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in machines, equipment, systems, and maintenance practices
- Budget ownership and CapEx management experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Safety commitment awareness to protocols and guidelines
