Job summary

HH GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking a dedicated Maintenance professional to join our Paranaque City, Metro Manila team. This full-time role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, efficient facilities and equipment.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with contractors as needed, maintaining records and upholding health and safety standards across all sites. Strong hands-on skills and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, handyperson services, or facilities management.
• Knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry is a plus.
• Technical certifications or qualifications in maintenance disciplines are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and hazards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Repair and replace faulty equipment, components, and fixtures including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and materials used for compliance and tracking.
• Collaborate with external contractors when specialist work is required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

HH GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance professional to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities and equipment. As a Maintenance professional, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining our premises to the highest standards. This role is essential to our operations and directly contributes to the safety, efficiency, and overall success of our business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently
• Repair and replace faulty equipment, components, and fixtures including HVAC systems, electrical installations, plumbing, and general building infrastructure
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used for compliance and tracking purposes
• Perform general cleaning and custodial duties to ensure facilities remain safe, hygienic, and presentable
• Collaborate with external contractors and service providers when specialist work is required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, reporting shortages and recommending replacements as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in general maintenance, handyperson services, or facilities management in a commercial or industrial setting
• Sound knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and respond to urgent maintenance issues promptly
• Good physical fitness and capability to work in various environmental conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
• Valid driver's license is advantageous for attending multiple sites or sourcing materials
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in maintenance disciplines are preferred
• Safety awareness and willingness to adhere to all health and safety protocols
