Job Summary: A Machine Techinican is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial machines, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. They are tasked with monitoring the performance of machinery, making adjustments as needed, and conducting quality checks to ensure the finished product meets specifications.

Machine Operation
  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in production processes.
  • Adjust machine settings and controls to ensure proper operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during production.
Quality Control
  • Inspect products during and after production for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine quality checks and measurements.
  • Document any defects or issues, and take corrective action as needed.
Maintenance & Safety
  • Perform machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure the work environment adheres to safety standards.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Production Support
  • Assist in the setup of new production runs, including loading raw materials and preparing equipment.
  • Monitor production flow and make adjustments to keep operations on schedule.
  • Record production data and inventory levels.
Preventive Maintenance
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and follow maintenance schedules to avoid downtime and ensure machinery longevity.
Troubleshooting And Repairs
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system failures.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and breakdowns in production lines, machinery, and automated systems.
  • Replace faulty components and systems
System Installation And Upgrades
  • Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment or machinery.
  • Collaborate on upgrading existing systems to improve performance, efficiency, and safety.
Documentation And Reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replaced, and any improvements.
  • Generate reports on equipment performance, breakdown trends, and maintenance schedules.
Collaboration And Support
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and enhance machinery performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and other team members.
Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize machine performance.
  • Propose innovative solutions for improving maintenance processes and system efficiency.
  • High School, Diploma, TESDA, Electromechanical graduate or college graduates
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
