Job summary

About the role

This role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment in production lines including extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, and bag-making machines. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime, and ensure maintenance testing and inspection standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment in production line including extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, and bag-making machines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in equipment
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Ensure maintenance testing and inspection standards are consistently met
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines as well as initial start-up and orientation
• Calibrate and set up machinery to meet production requirements
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment operates within safety and performance standards
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal machine performance
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine repairs, and parts inventory
• Provide detailed reports on machine performance and recommend improvement measures
