Qualifications include a culinary diploma and 2–3 years of bakery experience in luxury or high-volume environments, with strong pastry skills and leadership abilities.

Qualificações

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Baking, Pastry Arts, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of bakery or pastry kitchen experience in luxury hotel/high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of bread making, pastry production, cake preparation, and bakery techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, bake, and present breads, pastries, cakes, desserts to the highest quality standards.
• Manage daily bakery operations and ensure timely production.
• Maintain consistency in recipes, portioning, taste, texture, and presentation.
• Monitor production schedules to meet operational and guest requirements.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients per HACCP standards.
• Conduct quality checks on all bakery items before service.
• Assist in menu development, seasonal offerings, and recipe enhancements.
• Control food costs by minimizing waste and maintaining inventory levels.
• Monitor stock levels and submit requisitions for bakery ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery section and equipment.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen colleagues.
