Nidec Motor Philippines Corporation is seeking a Logistics Specialist to collect, organize, manage, and analyze data to develop and execute logistics strategies. The role covers mode support, carrier management and freight bill authorization, with a hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years in logistics or related fields, plus strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills and good communication abilities. Willingness to work rotating shifts is required.

• Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; knowledge of MS Access is a plus.

• Willing to work rotating shifts (morning, mid, night) and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Submit logistics KPI data accurately and on time.
• Provide analysis for logistics KPI metrics.
• Support Mode Team Leader with logistics programs and analyses.
• Coordinate ocean, air and ground shipments with suppliers, facilities and providers.
• Manage freight bills including audit and payment matching; approve/deny in FBA queue.

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the collection, organization, management, and analysis of data needed to develop and execute logistics strategies for Nidec Motor Corporation. Activities and projects will focus on processes related to mode support, carrier and operational management and freight bill authorization.

What you'll be doing

1. Submits regularly, accurately and on time all the logistics key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics.
2. Provides analysis when applicable to all the logistics KPI and metrics.
3. Supports the Mode Team Leader with all Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC) logistics programs and provides analysis when applicable to all NMC logistics programs.
4. Coordinate Ocean, Air and Ground (LTL: Less Than Truckload, TL: Truckload, Parcel and Expedite) Shipments with Suppliers, NMC Facilities and Logistics Providers.
5. Managing freight bills with includes freight audit and match pay.
6. Assessing (Rejecting and Approving) freight bills in the FBA queue (Freight bill authorization).

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's Degree Graduate
2. Basic knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain and Procurement with at least 2 - 4 years of experience in a related field.
3. Knowledgeable in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
4. Good communication skills
5. Knowledgeable in MS Access and other programming skills if applicable
6. Willing to work in rotating shift schedule (morning, mid or night staff) and extended hours as required by operations
