Job summary

Nidec Motor Philippines Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to support the Finance team with cash applications, billing, and memo processing.

The role involves applying payments, reconciling cash with bank deposits and ERP records, generating invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy of customer data. Hybrid work setup with graveyard shift may apply; 6 months to 1 year of AR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable or related field (Collections a plus).
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or JD Edwards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process credit/debit memos for pricing adjustments, returns, or service credits.

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for supporting the Finance team in processing customer payments, issuing accurate billings, and handling credit/debit memos.

What you'll be doing

1. Ensures timely and accurate application of cash receipts and maintains compliance with internal controls and procedures.

2. Apply customer payments to accounts based on remittance advice and bank statements.

3. Reconcile daily cash receipts with bank deposits and ERP records.

4. Generate and issue invoices based on validated sales orders or service contracts.

5. Communicate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

6. Verify billing details including customer information, pricing, and terms.

7. Prepare and process credit/debit memos for pricing adjustments, returns, or service credits.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• At least 6 months to 1 year of work experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting field. Collection Experience is a plus.

• Practical knowledge of Oracle or other ERP (SAP, JD Edwards, etc) is a plus.

• Good communication skills.

• Amenable to work on graveyard shift; hybrid set-up.
