Job summary

FMC Research Solutions Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Metro Manila to oversee end-to-end import/export processes for worldwide shipments. You will coordinate scheduling, ensure customs compliance, and review essential documents to ensure timely deliveries.

You will work with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and brokers, track shipments, resolve issues, and maintain records. A background in customer service and a customs administration degree strengthen candidacy.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a Logistics Coordinator.
• Background in customer service is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple processes independently.
• Proficient in computer applications and logistics systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of import/export logistics—from scheduling to customs compliance.
• Prepare and review shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, Letters of Credit).
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Monitor, track, and update stakeholders on shipments.
• Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and databases.
• Assist with financial matters related to shipments (SOA, collection monitoring, etc.).
• Compute and verify import-related charges, including Duties and Taxes, Demurrage, Detention, Landed Cost, and Brokerage Fees.
• Stay updated on international trade regulations and recommend process improvements.
• Support other business functions and projects as needed.
