We are looking for an experienced Customs Broker with at least 10 years of experience in customs brokerage, import/export processing, customs negotiations, and shipment/container release. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of Bureau of Customs procedures and is highly experienced in coordinating with customs offices, port/terminal personnel, shipping lines, and other government agencies to ensure the timely and efficient release of shipments.
Handle and oversee customs clearance and import/export documentation from processing up to final release.
Manage and coordinate the release of containers and shipments, including securing and processing gate passes and other required release documents.
Conduct and manage negotiations and coordination with Bureau of Customs personnel regarding customs requirements, assessments, examinations, discrepancies, and shipment releases.
Coordinate with shipping lines, terminals, ports, truckers, and customs representatives to facilitate smooth and timely container release.
Monitor the status of shipments, customs entries, assessments, payments, examinations, and releases.
Ensure that all customs documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable regulations.
Handle customs concerns, discrepancies, holds, inspections, and other issues that may delay shipment release.
Review customs duties, taxes, assessments, and related charges for accuracy.
Process and monitor gate pass issuance and container release requirements.
Coordinate with internal operations and clients regarding shipment status, customs requirements, and expected release dates.
Licensed Customs Broker preferred/required.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in customs brokerage and import/export operations.
Extensive experience in customs negotiations and shipment/container release.
Strong experience in gate pass processing and coordination with ports/terminals and shipping lines.
In-depth knowledge of Bureau of Customs procedures and regulations.
Experienced in handling customs examinations, assessments, holds, and other shipment-related concerns.
Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Able to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive shipments.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant customs/logistics systems.
