Job summary

NightOwl Consulting is seeking a Loan Servicing Support Specialist to join the Operations team. The role will manage subservicing processes, wire funds, maintain documents, audit reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have mortgage lending and loan servicing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with deadlines. Knowledge of Encompass and regulatory standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mortgage lending and loan servicing experience required.
• Strong understanding of loan servicing workflows, including subservicing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in loan servicing.
• Experience with Encompass loan origination software.
• Previous work experience with Dovenmuehle Mortgage Inc. (DMI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the loan boarding process to subservices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Wire escrow funds as required and manage fund disbursements.
• Deliver and maintain servicing images and documents.
• Manage, track, and resolve missing documents and conditions.
• Audit and reconcile daily subservicing reports to verify accurate boarding data.
• Conduct weekly operational calls with subservices to ensure alignment and address issues.
• Regularly audit daily and monthly subservicing reports.
• Generate and provide detailed reports to management for early delinquency audits.
• Monitor alerts on loan payoffs to manage timely responses.
• Conduct comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
• Support the Accounting and Compliance teams during audits and regulatory reviews.
