NightOwl Consulting Philippines Inc. is seeking a meticulous Mortgage Operations Assistant to support loan processing workflows for client projects in the Philippines.

The role involves reviewing incoming files, setting up Encompass, and coordinating with the Pre-Approval team to ensure timely reviews. You will review Lead Notes, track document status, and maintain trackers to prevent delays, while assisting teammates to stay focused on their core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Mortgage industry experience is required.
• Must have experience with order outs and calling third parties.
• Encompass experience is a plus.
• Proficient with office applications.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Positive, go-getter personality is preferred.
• Finance or accounting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track Lead Notes received from LO (Loan Officer).
• Monitor incoming “App Submitted” emails and set up Encompass files.
• Complete “File Set-up” review when App & Docs are received from the client.
• Send files to the Pre-Approval team when sufficient docs are available.
• Run DU/LP and order appraisals when needed.
• Send client needs list after initial file review and after Preapproval review.
• Obtain EOI, VOE’s, and HOA docs when requested.
• Ensure documents are correct at funding to avoid delays.
• Maintain a tracker of all files to prevent any from slipping through the cracks.
