Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our enterprise infrastructure team. You will administer Linux and Windows Server environments, implement upgrades, perform backup and disaster recovery, and help maintain secure operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of systems administration experience, with knowledge of SSH, sudoers, and security hardening. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable IT services across regional offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with server security hardening (CIS hardening preferred).
• Knowledge of SSH, user account management, privilege control (sudoers), and password policies.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with incident management, change management, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers.
• Perform server installation, configuration, upgrades, and system implementation.
• Execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimization; implement security hardening and server security best practices.
• Support change management, operational support, and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stable and secure operations.
