Job summary

Lenovo PCCW Solutions is seeking a System Lead with 10+ years of hands-on experience to manage day-2 IT Infrastructure operations for a key Singapore client. You will oversee virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V), Windows and RHEL environments, AD, clustering, DR testing, and enterprise backups.

The role requires leadership of a small team, CIS hardening, SDN exposure, and strong networking knowledge including VLANs, VPNs and firewalls. ITIL v4 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in at least 3 of the technical domains listed.
• Experience leading a small team of at least 5 members.
• Experience performing CIS hardening on Wintel and RHEL, GPO deployment, and security assessment and remediation.
• ITIL Foundation v4 Certified.
• Good knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routing, VLANs).
• Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience implementing software-defined networking (SDN) solutions.
• Proficiency in performance tuning for major database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience implementing database high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Virtualization platform management including VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Windows server management and large‑scale Active Directory environments.
• Windows Server failover clustering and load balancing.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration with performance tuning and security hardening.
• Red Hat Satellite for system management and patching.
• VMware vSphere cluster management and high availability setup.
• Hyper‑V live migration and replication.
• Rack infrastructure setup, maintenance, and high‑density server rack power distribution management.
• Enterprise‑level backup solutions design and execution using Veeam or Commvault.
• Disaster recovery plan design and testing.
