Job summary

Hellmann is seeking an IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Linux and Windows server environments across Asia Pacific. The position bridges development and operations to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.

You will join the Regional IS Services Team, working with cross-functional colleagues on upgrades, capacity planning, and automation using Bash and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in IT-related area.
• Minimum 5 years of IT-related work experience.
• Proven server engineer/ sysadmin experience with Linux and Windows.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, certificates).
• Hands-on virtualization experience (VMware, AHV).
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem solving and teamwork with good English.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows server infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize availability.
• Troubleshoot server issues including hardware and software problems.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansions with cross-functional teams.
• Implement security measures to protect server infrastructure.
• Automate tasks using Bash, PowerShell, and configuration tools.
• Document configurations and best practices for compliance.
• Stay updated on emerging server engineering technologies.
