Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Linux environments.
• Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems including RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, or Ubuntu.
• Experience with server administration, package management, and performance tuning.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux operating systems (RHEL, Rocky Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar)
• Monitor server performance, system availability, and resource utilization to ensure optimal operation
• Perform routine system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and security hardening
• Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and access controls
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, network, and application issues
• Configure and manage web servers, application servers, and related services
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Monitor system logs and proactively resolve performance and security issues
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages

About the role

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
