Job summary

Hellmann Shared Service Center Inc. is seeking a Server Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain robust Linux and Windows server infrastructure across APAC.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with cross-functional teams to plan upgrades and capacity expansions. The role requires strong virtualization experience with VMware and AHV, knowledge of cloud platforms, and proficiency in scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in IT-related field required.
• Minimum 5 years IT-related work experience.
• Proven Server Engineer or SysAdmin experience in Linux and Windows environments.
• Deep knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/Red Hat) and Windows Server OS.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, certificates).
• Hands-on with VMware and AHV virtualization.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and timely troubleshooting abilities.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows server infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for high availability.
• Troubleshoot server issues including hardware and software glitches.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansions with cross-functional teams.
• Implement security measures to protect server infrastructure.
• Automate routine tasks using Bash, PowerShell, and configuration tools.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay updated on new server technologies and industry trends.
