NCR Voyix seeks a Linux System Admin Team Lead to guide day-to-day support operations for global customers. You will manage workload, resolve issues, and drive process improvements while providing hands-on Linux/Windows support.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year in IT operations, strong networking knowledge, and experience leading teams. Excellent communication and a proactive, organized approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT operations or technical support experience with hands-on Linux.
• Experience leading or mentoring a technical team is desirable.
• Strong networking fundamentals: LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls.
• Experience troubleshooting in server/infrastructure environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, especially with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and ensure customer issues meet SLAs.
• Plan and prioritize the team’s workload; provide guidance as needed.
• Provide hands-on support across Linux and Windows environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot customer servers, software, and cloud infrastructure.
• Coordinate response to major or high-priority incidents.
• Support deployments, maintenance activities, and new projects.
• Maintain clear support documentation and improve team processes.
• Coach team members and foster a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
• Communicate with customers via email, phone, and chat for positive support experiences.
