Job summary

NCR Voyix Corporation is seeking an IT Support specialist to help keep customer systems running smoothly and to provide friendly, reliable assistance. You’ll respond to questions via email, phone, and chat; troubleshoot issues; monitor servers and networks; support Linux and Windows environments; assist with deployments; document problems; and share insights to prevent recurring issues.

Experience with basic security practices and incident handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT support or similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience or a good working knowledge of Linux.
• Basic networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confidence working with customers and explaining technical issues clearly.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions via email, phone, and online chat.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex cases.
• Monitor customer software, servers, and infrastructure.
• Support Linux and Windows server environments.
• Assist customers with software deployment and setup.
• Complete scheduled IT maintenance and support activities.
• Keep records of customer issues and identify recurring problems.
• Support new team members with laptop setup, account creation, and basic IT onboarding.
