Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook or kitchen staff, preferably with Filipino cuisine.

• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook Filipino dishes according to standard recipes.
• Assist in food prep activities like chopping vegetables and marinating meats.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen in compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen at all times in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage cooking stations, equipment, and supplies efficiently
• Monitor inventory levels and inform kitchen supervisor of low-stock items
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Work collaboratively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Cook or Kitchen Supervisor

As a Cook at Kaayoo, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every dish that comes out of the kitchen meets our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. You’ll be part of a kitchen team that values teamwork, cleanliness, and dedication to excellent Filipino food.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Filipino dishes according to standard recipes and menu guidelines
• Assist in food preparation activities such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure food is cooked and plated properly and consistently for dine-in and takeout
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen at all times in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage cooking stations, equipment, and supplies efficiently
• Monitor inventory levels and inform kitchen supervisor of low-stock items
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Work collaboratively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Cook or Kitchen Supervisor
