Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Level 2 Support specialist (Technical - IT & Electronics) for remote work in the Philippines, aligned to Australian business hours. Training is scheduled for the first 3 months, Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM AU time, then ongoing remote support after onboarding.

You will diagnose IT and electronics issues, create user guides, and assist with automotive electronics and wiring. English communication and strong troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT customer support or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of IT and electronics.
• Knowledge of wiring, soldering, and microcontrollers.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows, USB devices, drivers, and software.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for custom hardware and software systems through written support tickets.
• Troubleshoot IT, electronics, USB, Windows, and software-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve wiring, microcontroller, and basic electronic faults using appropriate tools such as a multimeter.
• Support automotive electronics and electrical wiring troubleshooting.
• Develop technical user guides and installation manuals for hardware and software systems.
• Analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain clear and accurate communication with customers throughout the support process.
• Work from Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday as scheduled days off, following Australian business hours.
• During the initial 3-month training period, work Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Australian time. Training will be provided in person by the L2 Manager, followed by online training and support as needed.
