We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our legal team in Las Pinas City, Metro Manila. This position is fundamental to the smooth operation of our law office, providing essential administrative and secretarial support to our legal professionals. As a Legal Secretary, you will be at the heart of our office operations, ensuring that all legal matters are handled with precision, confidentiality and professionalism. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment whilst supporting the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients and stakeholders.
Managing and maintaining legal documents, case files and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality
Preparing legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, memoranda and other legal instruments under the direction of legal professionals
Scheduling and coordinating meetings, hearings, depositions and other legal appointments for attorneys and legal staff
Maintaining comprehensive filing systems and databases to ensure all legal materials are organised and easily retrievable
Liaising with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel and other external parties on behalf of the legal team
Handling telephone and email communications whilst maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive legal matters
Managing office supplies, equipment and resources required for the legal department
Ensuring compliance with legal and administrative procedures, deadlines and filing requirements
Completed secondary education; a diploma or certification in legal secretarial studies or a related field is highly desirable
Work experience is preferred, but not required.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient typing and stenography skills with the ability to accurately transcribe legal materials
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Canva, and legal case management software
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
Absolute commitment to honesty, confidentiality and professional discretion when handling sensitive legal information
Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all documentation and correspondence
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients and court personnel
