Job summary

Potato Corner is seeking an experienced L&D Manager in Mandaluyong to lead learning strategies, review development needs, and deploy coaching, job-shadowing, and online training. You will organize e-learning courses, workshops, and engagement activities while monitoring outcomes and collaborating with managers to build team competencies.

The role also oversees L&D budgets, negotiates contracts, coordinates hiring/training, and supervises L&D staff; you will handle HR documents and recruitment

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as L&D Manager or Training Manager.
• Proven skills in effective learning, development methods, and facilitation.
• Experience in project management.
• Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office and LMS.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with employees and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking.
• Passionate about helping people learn and grow.
• Excellent / superior communication skills.
• Experience designing e-learning courses and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement learning strategies and programs.
• Review individual and organizational development needs.
• Deploy different kinds of learning methods, such as coaching, job-shadowing, online / virtual training.
• Organize e-learning courses, workshops, other trainings and engagement activities.
• Monitor the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers to develop team competencies.
• Oversee L&D budgets and negotiate (renegotiate) service agreements related to learning & development.
• Organize hiring and training activities.
• Supervise L&D Specialists and Associates.
• Conducts over-all management of the recruitment process (sourcing to onboarding).
• Prepares employee contracts, employee movement letters and other correspondence related to HR.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the HR Director from time to time.
