Job summary

LHX INLAND SERVICES INC is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist/Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for drivers, helpers, and other staff. The role supports employee development through classroom and field-based training, conducts competency assessments, and promotes adherence to safety standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience in training and development, and strong presentation and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; HR, Psychology, Transportation Management or related fields are advantageous.
• Experience in training, facilitation, coaching, learning and development, operations, fleet management or related fields is advantageous.
• Knowledgeable in training design, facilitation, employee development, and performance evaluation.
• Familiar with transportation operations, driver development, safety practices, and training methodologies.
• Good presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Organized and systematic in handling training records, reports, and documentation.

Learning and Development Specialist/Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for drivers, helpers, and other employees as required. The role supports employee development through classroom, field-based, and practical training activities, conducts competency assessments, monitors performance trends, and promotes compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational best practices.

About you
