Job summary

Fast Services Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver comprehensive training for drivers, covering safe driving, defensive driving, vehicle operation, road safety, and policy compliance.

The role includes classroom and practical sessions, skills assessments, and coaching to raise safety, technical, and performance standards. A forklift certification and the ability to run forklift training are required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct training programs for drivers covering safe driving practices, defensive driving, vehicle operation, and road safety
• Facilitate classroom and practical driving sessions
• Conduct skills assessments and provide coaching and refresher training
• Operate a forklift and conduct basic forklift-related training, safety orientation, and competency assessments
• Provide training on customer service, communication, workplace discipline, and proper conduct
• Evaluate individual driver performance and identify training and competency gaps
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare reports on training results and effectiveness
• Work closely with Operations, HR, and other departments to ensure continuous driver development
• Promote a strong culture of safety, professionalism, operational excellence, and continuous learning

About the role

The Technical Trainer is responsible for developing and conducting comprehensive training programs for drivers, covering safe driving practices, defensive driving, vehicle operation, road safety, proper vehicle handling, and compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. The role facilitates classroom and practical driving sessions, conducts skills assessments, and provides coaching and refresher training to ensure drivers meet required safety, technical, and performance standards. The Trainer should also be capable of operating a forklift and conducting basic forklift-related training, safety orientation, and competency assessments. The role also supports the professional development of drivers by providing training on customer service, communication, workplace discipline, proper conduct, and other competencies essential to their roles.
