Job summary

Emapta Philippines seeks a Lead System Administrator to own Windows Server and SQL Server operations, mentor a technical team, and manage critical incidents for international clients. You will handle escalations, server migrations, and after-hours support while ensuring security and compliance.

This is an onsite role in Ortigas with strong growth and premium rewards. Responsibilities include leading complex resolutions, overseeing daily ticketing operations, and maintaining runbooks and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on server support and admin experience.
• At least 1 year of technical team leadership.
• Experience with server implementations, hardware upgrades, migrations.
• SQL Server expertise incl installation, config, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls and remote access.
• Experience handling incidents, SLAs, tickets with monitoring tools.
• Willing to work after-hours, weekends; KPI tracking and coaching valued.
• Diploma or degree preferred; certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex Windows Server, SQL Server, and network issues.
• Oversee server setup, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, and admin.
• Manage daily support operations across ticket queues and priorities.
• Monitor SLAs, queue performance, and resolution targets.
• Own escalations and collaborate with vendors and senior resources.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and feedback.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and coverage requirements.
• Review cases for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Coordinate after-hours maintenance and critical incident support.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and SOPs.
• Track KPIs, service metrics, and operational trends.
• Ensure HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2 compliance and data handling.
• Utilize ticketing and remote-access tools to support operations.
