Job summary

RELX International in Manila seeks a senior Systems Engineer to lead and support enterprise infrastructure. The role requires strong Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure), plus proficiency in Microsoft 365 services and identity platforms.

You will guide technical teams, coordinate with vendors, and ensure reliable operations across multiple environments. You will join a collaborative IT function focused on incident management, automation, and continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 5-7 years in systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience in technical leadership or SME capacity desirable.
• Advanced Windows systems and infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with enterprise identity platforms and cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience managing SaaS services.
• Knowledge in incident management and change requests.
• Automation scripting and problem management tools.
• Knowledge of virtualization and thin clients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of major system components and complete tasks.
• Lead a team on initiatives, projects, optimization, and operations.
• Diagnose problems with applications and systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot systems across environments.
• Provide prompt recovery and escalation using management tools.
• Coordinate with development, support, and vendors to meet deadlines.
• Assist in daily support and monitor system responses.
• Refine system monitoring and reporting with support groups.
• Apply problem-solving across operating environments.
• Perform online system functions and automate tasks.
• Manage incident response and major incidents.
• Implement changes and service requests properly.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.
