Job summary

RELX is seeking a senior systems engineering leader to manage and grow a team responsible for Windows infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). The role emphasizes incident management, project planning, and cross-functional leadership across multiple departments.

You will drive operational excellence, mentor engineers, and coordinate with vendors to resolve complex issues while aligning with business objectives and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder with 10-12 years in systems or infrastructure engineering.
• 3-5 years in leadership or people-management roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows systems and infrastructure (Windows servers, AD, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with enterprise identity platforms (Entra ID/Active Directory) and public cloud (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience in managing Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Knowledge of incident management, service requests, changes, and major incident management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and delegation skills; able to lead multiple groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of systems engineers to ensure timely and accurate performance.
• Interview, hire, train staff; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
• Develop and implement security programs and governance across departments.
• Coordinate with development, support groups, and vendors to meet deadlines.
• Diagnose system performance problems and optimize parameters for better throughput.
• Provide prompt recovery and problem escalation for exceptions.
