REED ELSEVIER SHARED SERVICES (PHILIPPINES) INC. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer III (Technical Lead) to join the End User Computing team.

This individual contributor role blends deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities as a SME for critical enterprise technologies. You will support Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure), drive automation, and lead initiatives, incidents, and changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or engineering.
5–7 years of Systems/Infrastructure Engineering experience.
Experience as technical lead or SME for enterprise tech.
Hands-on with Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Entra ID/Azure AD, Microsoft 365, AWS/Azure.
Scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with SaaS platforms and identity solutions (preferred).

Responsibilities

Act as a technical lead and SME for enterprise infrastructure technologies.
Support and maintain Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure environments.
Lead technical initiatives, operational improvements, and project activities.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system-related issues.
Support incident response, major incidents, service requests, and change implementations.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tools.
Work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Monitor system performance and drive service improvements.
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide escalation support when required.
Contribute to daily operational support and continuous improvement initiatives.
