Job summary

McGraw Hill Education in the Philippines is seeking a Lead Specialist, Accessibility to guide WCAG-aligned product development across multiple Agile teams. You will coach UX, engineering, and product stakeholders, perform audits, and sign off on accessibility deliverables.

You bring 3+ years of WCAG auditing experience, strong knowledge of ADA and Section 508, and hands-on expertise with HTML/CSS/JS. The role emphasizes shift-left practices, inclusion, and ongoing accessibility coaching.

Qualifications

3+ years experience auditing products/applications against WCAG using manual and automated methods.
3+ years experience with assistive technology including screen readers and magnifiers.
2+ years experience supporting accessibility conformance reports.

Responsibilities

Coach product teams on accessible development, including UX reviews and accessibility annotations.
Guide third-party WCAG audits from start to VPAT completion.
Audit products for accessibility and provide remediation feedback.
Monitor teams' accessibility implementation and guide improvements.
Plan and participate in accessibility training for teams.
Evaluate trends and legislation to inform strategic plans.
