Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food items
• Follow recipes and instructions accurately for cooking or food assembly
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers, mixers)
• Keep kitchen and prep areas clean, sanitized, and organized
• Store food items properly and monitor expiration dates to reduce waste
• Assist in plating or packaging food to ensure presentation standards
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures
• Support chefs and line cooks as needed during peak hours
• Take out trash, wash dishes, and handle cleaning tasks regularly
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage but not required
