Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of ingredients, cooking, and assembling dishes according to the menu and recipe standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and sanitized, including washing dishes and cleaning workstations and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, stock supplies, and notify supervisors when ingredients or equipment are running low.
- Team Collaboration: Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food delivery.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, temperature control, and safe operation of kitchen equipment.
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work well with kitchen staff.
- Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
