Job Description

- Food Preparation: Assist in prepping ingredients, chopping vegetables, marinating, and following recipes to prepare meals efficiently and to standard.
- Cooking and Assembly: Operate kitchen equipment to cook, grill, fry, or bake food items as per the menu, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cleaning surfaces, according to health and safety standards.
- Stock Management: Help in receiving and storing inventory, ensuring proper rotation of stock, and notifying the supervisor of low stock items.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operation during peak times.
- Experience: Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure food is prepared to standard and kitchen operations are maintained efficiently.
- Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Hygiene and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices is a plus.
