Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and mortgage guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit reports, income documents, assets, contracts, and property appraisals.
• Research loan program guidelines and verify compliance with underwriting standards.
• Review and verify the Uniform Residential Loan Application (Form 1003).
• Coordinate loan closure dates and communicate conditions to borrowers.
• Conduct audits and ensure TRID and disclosure compliance.
• Maintain follow-up processes for appraisals, title documents, and approvals.
