Job summary

Ciit College Of Arts is hiring a Junior IT Officer in Quezon City, Philippines. The role focuses on Level 1 support for hardware, software, network, and login issues, with ticketing via Freshservice or Zendesk.

Fresh graduates are welcome, preferably with 0–1 year IT helpdesk experience. You will set up workstations, accounts, and assist with routine maintenance, contributing to reliable IT services for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant internship/OJT experience may be considered.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; preferably with 0–1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, and internet/connectivity troubleshooting.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting for login/access, hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems such as Freshservice or Zendesk is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to follow IT procedures and properly document incidents and resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, network, connectivity, login, and printer-related concerns.
• Receive, troubleshoot, document, and resolve user concerns through the ticketing system, email, or phone.
• Set up workstations, user accounts, and basic system configurations for end users.
• Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to the appropriate higher-level support team.
• Maintain complete and accurate ticket records, including incidents, requests, troubleshooting performed, and resolutions.
• Assist with IT asset inventory, including tagging, monitoring, and updating equipment records.
• Perform routine IT maintenance and system checks to help maintain operational efficiency.
